Love can make you crazy happy. But before you discover you’ve fallen, you might see red.

Tori Carroll was hot! hot! hot!  Red convertible, red leather, red lips.

Billy Joe had already been burned.

As Tori’s fire’s softened, Billy Joe’s heart melted.

Vulnerability wasn’t his strong suit.

But listening was, and he had to decipher if he had a snowball’s chance in heaven.

We all know a lot can happen in a weekend. Architect, Matt Sheldon, and his son Matthew live on the beach in a secluded home in Hobe Sound, Fl. With ulterior motives and pure intentions, Matthew, a nineteen year old college student, brings a girlfriend home for the weekend  -  and lets nature take its course.

During an old-fashioned hymn singing, sightseeing in a helicopter, and fine dining, the sparks fly!  Join Matt, Matthew and Rachel Stone, the girlfriend, for a weekend of fireworks on the beach!

Overwhelmed since his wife died, Steven Baldwin moves into his parent’s winter condo with two small children to better manage his life.

As he and the children are getting onto the elevator one day they find Mrs. Sherman, a neighbor, near tears and needing help. Her granddaughter’s birthday is five minutes away and she has dropped the cake in the elevator! Steven and his children come to her rescue. For the first time since their mother died, Steven’s children start to show signs of life and healing, dragging Steven along for the cure.

This novelette is based on a somewhat true story as told to me in a couple of sentences, embellished with romance and a guy named Mike.

Colleen is searching for a singing career.  Liz and Lucy bring more cheer and light into Colleen’s life than she thinks she can stand. The smell of strong coffee and some of Liz’s catchy phrases find their way into Colleen’s heart and conversation. Mike is going under for good until Colleen throws him a glimmer of hope in a song in a bar. Colleen builds her career, all the time wondering, what happened to Mike?
